All work must be original. Please do not submit work which was exhibited at the recent Spring exhibition, 2026. You may however re-submit any other work which has been exhibited through the SGA previously.
2D work
Submitted pictures can be of any size up to a maximum of 80 x 80cms or equivalent including the frame. Those entering three pictures may also enter a small picture for free.
Small pictures are defined as up to 30cm x 30cm, or equivalent area, not including frames. Small pictures will be displayed together in a group. All other pictures will be displayed in the body of the exhibition.
- We have set a minimum price of £40 for small paintings and £75 for larger ones.
- For safety, hanging work must be hung by cord attached to D rings on the reverse.
- Please attach an ‘overhanging label’ with artist’s name, title of picture and medium.
- You may also submit up to three browser works free of charge. Late browser entries, including at hand in, will not be accepted. Please do not add additional ones during the exhibition as we need to limit the number of browser works displayed.
3D work
- Please clearly label 3D submissions with name, title, and medium.
- Single items should have a footprint no bigger than 30cm x 30cm approx.
- A collection is up to 3 pieces that can stand within a 30cm x 30cm space and are offered for sale as one item.
- Don’t forget, if submitting three 3D pieces, you can still enter a small 2D picture and up to three browser works for free.
Late submissions, substitutions and any request to change a submission price or name after the submission date will be rejected unless there is a truly exceptional reason. All submission forms submitted will be confirmed by email immediately after submission.
