The SGA sponsors a gazebo at Salisbury Art Scene’s ‘Art in the Market’ events on the Salisbury Town Square. Although these take place every first Sunday in the month from March through till October, we take a stall on a bi- monthly basis, starting in April or as seems appropriate with weather etc.!
This is a great opportunity for members to exhibit their artworks, joining a host SGA committee member who will organise the event.
This is also a good opportunity to promote the SGA.

 

Salisbury Art Scene, 2025

Four events are planned for the first Sunday of the month, as follows:

Sunday 4 th May: host Martin Webster
Sunday 1 st June: host TBC
Sunday 6 th July: host Paul Ryder
Sunday 7 th September: host TBC

The gazebo can accommodate two guest artists with the host – each artist can display around six pictures, browser works, greeting cards, and ceramics. The SGA supplies tables, browsers, a card stand and a couple of easels, but artists should bring their own easels.
We normally meet in the Market Square at 9am to set up, with a 10am start. The event closes at 4pm.

If you are interested in participating, please contact the host committee member in the first instance (first come, first served).  If a host committee member is not listed, then please feel free to contact any of us!

It’s a fun day out where you can meet other talented artists and makers and maybe some new friends along the way.
